David Becker

David Becker was born in Stockton, CA in 1950 and attended California College of Arts and Crafts (CCAC), in Oakland, the Central School of Art and Design Holborn in London and received his BFA from San Francisco State University. Following graduation he attended The Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program in New York. He lived for many years in Manhattan, then in the San Francisco Bay Area, and now lives and works in Hudson, NY. He has shown locally and in San Francisco, including projects curated by Aaron Levi Garvey and Jonah Bokaer, at the George Lawson Gallery, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artists’ Gallery, and the Berkeley Art Center.
