Jim Denney lives and works in Hudson, NY. He has shown continuously since 1981. Museum venues include The American Jewish Museum in Pittsburgh, The Smithsonian Institute in Washington, The Tacoma Art Museum, The Mint Museum in Charlotte, and The Portland Center for the Visual Arts. Educational venues include The Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, Lane Community College in Eugene, The University of Colorado in Boulder, Cleveland State University, The University of Pittsburg in Johnstown, and New York University. Commercial venues include local Hudson dealers Susan Eley, Pamela Salisbury, and Chris Freeman, as well as George Billis in Los Angeles, Robert Canaga in Eugene, and Gabrielle Bryers in New York City. He is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Award.
