Marjorie Virginia Strider was an American painter, sculptor and performance artist best known for her three-dimensional paintings and site-specific soft sculpture installations. Ms. Strider was among the first wave of New York Pop artists and was included in “The First International Girlie Show” at the Pace Gallery in 1964, along with several soon-to-be stars of the movement, including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Tom Wesselmann.
